Yellow-headed Blackbird

Photo of the Week (April 22nd, 2018)

(archive photos of the week here)

I have many, many photos of Yellow-headed Blackbirds.  They're quite common around here during the summer, and unlike many birdsd, they're not particularly shy.  They will often sit in the same perch, singing away for all they're worth while the weird guy with the camera clicks away.  Yet despite having so many photos of them, I can't resist when I get an opportunity.  They're such strikingly beautiful birds.
