Elk

This photo of a group of Elk was taken in Mammoth Hot Springs, in Yellowstone National Park. The cows and calves are often found around here in the summer, and why not? Plenty of green grass, and not nearly as big a worry about a pack of wolves roaming through town and eating your offspring!! Photo taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
