Long-billed Corella Photos

Cacatua tenuirostris

A species I really did know I'd seen and photographed, until we were on our flight from Sydney to Tokyo! I saw many Little Corella while at Centennial Park in Sydney on our last morning. Not knowing any better, I assumed all the white corellas were Little Corella. Nope...there were a handful of Long-billed Corellas mixed in with them  (longer bill, red throat slash).  Note the 2nd photo of the flying flock is mostly Little Corella, with (at least) a couple of Long-billed Corella on the right side.
