Cattle Egret Photos

Bubulcus ibis 

A species we have in the US, I didn't focus on Cattle Egret much while in Australia. However, the things were EVERYWHERE. And unlike my home state of South Dakota, where Cattle Egrets aren't necessarily in the company of cattle, it seemed like every time there was livestock in Australia, there were Cattle Egret milling about. And yes, like the photo below, using their name sake as a perch as they wait for insects to be kicked up.
