Cliff Swallow Photo

This photo of a juvenile Cliff Swallow was taken in July of 2008 in Minnehaha County.  There were very large numbers of these guys who had just fledged at this time, and some were pretty helpless.  This guy couldn't fly very well yet, and was sitting in vegetation, screaming loudly on occasion to get a parent to bring him some food.  Photo taken with Canon 40D, 400 5.6L.
