Cliff Swallow Photos

A common sight in summer in my part of South Dakota. An adaptable species, they've learned to use bridges and overpasses with nesting, forming large colonies. It's a common sight to drive over a rural bridge and have a blizzard of Cliff Swallows burst out from underneath as your passage gives their nesting colonies a little shake.
