Canada Warbler Photos

Photography by Terry Sohl

My Favorite:  Canada Warblers are a species I haven't seen all that often, although they're not an unusual migrant in eastern South Dakota. But as relatively few times as I've seen them, my photo collection is even more sparse! It gives you some idea of the challenges in photographing warbler species, birds that often stay up in the forest canopy, and are always on the move! My favorite photo the one below, from the Outdoor Campus in Sioux Falls, on May 21st, 2020.
