This beautiful gull made an appearance below Gavin's Point Dam in November and December 2010. This is the first record of the species in South Dakota (yes, it was seen on the South Dakota side!!) Note these aren't the greatest photos in the world! What you see is what you get, in terms of how many pixels the bird filled in the original frame!
