Pipit Photos

Motacillidae Families

Two species of Pipit have been found in South Dakota, the American Pipit, and Sprague's Pipit.  Sprague's Pipit is an elusive, secretive bird that has a bit of a special meaning to many birders, while American Pipits are much more widespread.
