Blue-winged Teal Photos

My Favorite: Just about the most common duck that you see around southeastern South Dakota, and because of that, I don't really target them for photography very much.  I guess that's why I think most of my photos below are pretty "OK", but not much more.  On May 13th, 2018, however, I came across a male Blue-winged Teal in a bit more intimate setting than the other photos below.  He was nestled amongst the dead cattails at Weisensee Slough in Minnehaha County, South Dakota, and wasn't too inclined to move.  I think I like the setting of the photo more than even the Teal itself.
