Garden Spider Photo
When I first saw this very colorful monster of a spider in my garden in the summer of 2003, I thought I must have some rare exotic spider or something. Well, now I know it's just a common Garden Spider. He graced my yard for about 2 months that summer, and frankly I'm shocked that one of our dogs didn't find him and take care of him (or perhaps the other way around!!). Taken with Nikon Coolpix 4500 camera.
