Mountain Bluebird

This photo of a female Mountain Bluebird was taken on July 23rd, 2011 at North Cave Hills in Harding County, South Dakota.  One of my favorite photos, as it really shows the wonderful powder-blue plumage the females have on their wings.  Photo taken with Canon 50D, 400 5.6L.
