Snowy Owl Photo

This photo of what's probably a young female was taken on November 18th, 2006 west of Presho in Lyman County.  I found her right after dawn, and she was extremely cooperative as I watched and photographed her for half an hour.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens with 1.4x extender.
