Red Crossbill Photo

This photo of a Red Crossbill was taken on June 17th, 2008 near Trout Lake, Washington.  A group of these guys were scratching through the dirt, so it was nice to catch multiple birds.  Female is on the left, male on the right.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
