This photo of a Marbled Godwit on the beach was taken on April 19th, 2007 at Point Reyes National Seashore in California.  Beautiful, but certainly a lot paler and less colorful looking than breeding birds in South Dakota.  Photo taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L.
