Every one of my Long-eared Owl photos were taken in November and December of 2007, when a group of about 15-18 were constantly roosting in cedar trees in the Big Sioux Recreation Area, a state park right across the street from our house. Certainly a great couple of months, especially since the birds were so tame and cooperative.
