Great Horned Owl Photo

This photo of a Great Horned Owl was taken on October 7th, 2007 in Kingsbury County, South Dakota.  My guess...this guy was a victim of West Nile.  He was sitting on the side of a remote gravel road, extremely disheveled in the rain, and acting almost drunk.  Poor dude...he didn't seem like he was long for the world.  Taken with Canon 20D, 400 5.6L lens.
