Great Egret Photo

This photo was taken on April 19th, 2003, at the Madison Waterfowl Production area on the west edge of Lake Madison.  Just goes to show how well a car can work as a photo blind.  There were dozens of these guys around that day, but they were quite shy.  However, after a car has been sitting in place for a while, they seem to forget that somebody is inside.  They were approaching very close after about half an hour of waiting.  Taken by digiscoping, with Swarovski AT80 HD scope, Nikon Coolpix 4500 camera.
