American Pipit Photo

This photo of an American Pipit dashing across the blacktop was taken on November 10th, 2008 near Wall Lake in Minnehaha County.  A flock of about a dozen were foraging along the roadside and the beach at Wall Lake, and occasionally even out in the middle of the road.  Photo taken with Canon 40D, 400 5.6L.
