American Kestrel Photos
There are certain species in the state that are more frustrating than others in terms of trying to photograph. American Kestrels are near the VERY top of my list in terms of birds that are difficult to photograph. They are nearly always extremely difficult to approach. In both of the following cases, a closer approach than normal was allowed because the bird was feeding or had just finished feeding.
