Tufted Puffin Photo

This photo of a Tufted Puffin was taken on June 8th, 2009 at Haystack Rock, by Cannon Beach in Oregon.  There were quite a few nesting pairs on the rock.  At low tide when you could walk up to the rock, individuals would often get very close as they flew out from the rock to forage.   Photo taken with Canon 50D, 400 5.6L.
