Badger Photos
You certainly see the evidence of Badgers being around, but it's not very often when you see the Badger himself. On August 5th, 2002, I was driving down a gravel road in Minnehaha County when I came across this guy digging a hole in the roadbed edge. At first seeing me, he scampered down the hole. As I sat there and turned the engine off, he finally poked his head back out after 10 minutes, giving me a great ground level head shot.
