Humpback Whale

Have you noticed that at least 4 or 5 of my "favorite" photos in this section were all taken on this one wildlife cruise off the coast of Alaska?  There's a reason for that...it truly was one spectacular time!!   And how could the highlight NOT be seeing breaching Humpback Whales?  Capturing it on film?  That was the tough part, especially on a rocking boat.  I did manage several tail and fluke shots like this, but often, they were too close to the boat to fit in the frame!

Not that I was complaining...truly a spectacular experience.
