South Dakota Birds and Birding Devoted to Birds, Birding, and Photography |
Another photo from Red Rocks State Park near Sedona, Arizona. During our Fall 2006 trip, Anna's Hummingbirds were by far the most commonly seen. We were about a month past the peak of the hummingbird migration...boy, given how many we saw, I'd love to be there during the peak! About 5 different species were coming to feeders and flowers around the park. This was taken as this male Anna's hovered, waiting for a spot to open up at a feeder.
Taken on September 7th, 2006 at Red Rocks State Park near Sedona, Arizona.
